Storyline

In a neon-lit corner of 1987 Gateshead, horror-obsessed best mates Chris, Brian and Steve hatch the ultimate plan to impress their classmates: record a VHS guide full of fool-proof 'tips' for winning dates.
When their filming location turns out to be a real occult haunt, the boys accidentally awaken something far nastier than teen rejection. Sudden power cuts, worm-eaten tomes and rubber-masked creatures crash their shoot, forcing the trio’s makeshift production crew to become reluctant monster hunters before sunrise.
Amid splattery gags and synth-soaked suspense, each boy must face his own fears—leadership, failure and faith—to stop the rampage and maybe learn what confidence truly means.
