'Awakening' follows a young child tormented by violent nightmares in which they see themself through the eyes of a monster. As the dreams worsen, the community begins to sense that something far more sinister is bleeding into reality, and the fragile line between imagination and true horror starts to collapse.
Fear, suspicion and desperation fuel the town as they confront the creature that may be both real and a reflection of their own dread.
