Casting For 2 Lead Roles In Queer Horror Experimental Short Film 'Gum'.

Location: Scotland, all regions

Estimated payment: £220 to £250icon

Storyline: During a surreal night out, a young bisexual man is suddenly thrown into a disturbing, dreamlike spiral when his teeth begin falling out in the middle of a hookup with a stranger.

Confronted by fear, desire and confusion, he is forced to face the sexuality he has tried to suppress, wrestling with internalised homophobia, shame and the desperate need to be seen

As reality blurs and subconscious anxieties surface, both characters embody different emotional extremes, fear versus freedom, repression versus self-acceptance.

This proof-of-concept short dives into queer identity, psychological horror and bodily anxiety, giving performers a chance to lean into expressive, experimental and highly symbolic storytelling

No experience is required . The team welcomes dedicated actors who can commit fully and collaborate openly with this experimental project.
