Casting Actors For A Darkly Funny Morality Tale Where A Man Must Plead His Fate

Location: England, all regions

Estimated payment: £185 + expensesicon

Title: Oh, Death

Storyline: After his abrupt and unexpected death, Peter is almost elated to be greeted by an agent of death and to discover that there is an afterlife. Peter believes he has done enough good to earn his ticket up, but when sarcastic and bored Margo tells him he is going down, Peter has only a short time to convince her to change her mind to avoid an eternity of punishment.

This comedy drama explores themes of choice, family, death and morality as Peter argues his case and Margo maintains her biting scepticism. Their encounter becomes a cat and mouse debate about goodness, responsibility and the stories we tell about ourselves, set against the clock of his final judgment.

This is a character led two hander with great dialogue and emotional range, offering meaningful screen time for both leads and strong material for a showreel
