Seeking Brave Actors For A Visually Striking Psychological Horror About Art, Perfectionism And Madness

Location: Australia, all regions

Estimated payment: $220 to $250icon

Title: Tend To Overgrown Vines

Storyline: 'Tend To Overgrown Vines' is a dark psychological horror short film from Sydney Film School that follows Ivy Moore, an ambitious SFX artist whose passion for creating lifelike horror effects turns disturbingly real.

After facing harsh criticism from her peers and mentors, Ivy becomes consumed by an obsession with perfection. Her pursuit of artistic validation spirals into madness as she begins experimenting on herself, blurring the boundaries between art and self-harm.

The film explores the destructive consequences of creative obsession, the psychological toll of artistic ambition, and the haunting question of what happens when art becomes indistinguishable from the artist’s own suffering.
