Title: Kilter

Storyline
---------
Athena, an African immigrant who has lived in the UK since her teens, devotes her life to steering newcomers through Britain’s daunting citizenship maze.

Her newest client is Neema, a young wife and mother desperate to secure a future for her family. To hurry the paperwork Athena bends rules, convinced the end justifies the means—until old guilt resurfaces and her messiah complex starts to crack.

Their entwined quests for belonging unfold across five tense days in Brighton, drawing in Max, an emotionally torn child, and unseen voices whose decisions echo through government corridors.

Each choice tests loyalty, identity and the hope that second chances really exist.
