Title: Fold of Water
Storyline: The film follows Winni, who returns to her childhood home after her grandmother's death. Through boxes of old cassette tapes, letters, and books, she pieces together her mother’s forgotten story.
This story is inspired by the idea that we experience three deaths in our lifetime: biological, societal, and when we are forgotten. It explores the act of remembering as a way to prolong the inevitability of death and people being forgotten.
Winni’s journey through memory and grief slowly uncovers her family’s complex past, revealing lost relationships, unspoken pain, and the fragile thread of love that connects them all across generations.

Younger Nora. A close friend of Rae who supported her during difficult times. Brought Rae’s ashes to Winni after Rae’s death. English accent required
