Storyline: 'Before You Go' is a four-part student-made drama web series about love, friendship and unspoken feelings.
The story centres on Ethan, a young man quietly struggling as his best friend Archie prepares to leave their hometown to study at the Edinburgh College of Art. As Archie excitedly looks to the future, Ethan is burdened by something he’s never shared - he’s in love with Archie.
Ethan’s inner conflict and fear of losing Archie forever drives the emotional arc of the story. As time runs out, he must decide whether to confess his feelings or let his friend go, never knowing how things might have been different.

He isn’t quite sure what he really wants from life yet. Ethan is a lead character and will be needed for every filming day. Note: This role involves a kiss between them and the other lead. Actors must be comfortable with this

Archie. As a young artist, heading off to Edinburgh College of Art in a couple of days. He is excited to get away from his hometown and out into the world. Archie is a lead character and will be needed for every filming day. Note: This role involves a kiss between them and the other lead. Actors must be comfortable with this

Archie’s Dad. A homophobic, semi-detached parent. Employs Ethan in his mechanics shop. Won’t be needed for most shoot days
Female 40 to 50
Ethan’s Mum. Ethan’s mum is a close minded woman from a small town, she will only be needed for half or one shoot day as she’s only in one scene
