Casting Passionate Actor For Gritty Queer Film Role About Grief And Survival

Location: England, all regions

Estimated payment: Paid including expensesicon

Title: The Quietest Place in Gateshead

Storyline: 'The Quietest Place in Gateshead' is a new original film that dives into the unspoken world of men in pain.

Set in the North East of England, the film is a brutally honest and deeply personal exploration of grief, addiction, masculinity, queerness, recovery, and community.

The story centers on Danny, but one of the most crucial roles is that of Mitch, a character who is part ghost, part warning, and part lost love. Mitch is a dealer, a survivor, and a man who never fully escaped the past. His return to Danny's world threatens everything the latter has tried to rebuild.

This role is intense, monologue driven, and layered with emotional weight. The film is a love letter to the North East and the men who were never taught to say how they felt. A film built by and for people who understand what it means to struggle, endure, and still reach for connection

No experience is needed although a commitment to filming with a good attitude is required
