This student film project focuses on a performance-led recreation of a powerful emotional scene from the 1979 film 'Kramer vs. Kramer'.
Created as part of a university dissertation, the aim is to explore how different acting methodologies affect performance in film.
The chosen scene features a pivotal and raw emotional exchange between the characters Joanna and Ted. It will be filmed twice using different acting techniques, providing an opportunity to understand how method and delivery shape on-screen storytelling.
This casting call is specifically seeking individuals with little to no acting experience. This is an ideal opportunity for aspiring performers to gain experience in front of the camera, receive valuable footage for their showreel, and contribute to a research-led university project
No experience is needed although a commitment to filming with a good attitude is required
This is an unpaid student film but transport costs will be covered and all participants will receive full credit along with professional photos and video for their portfolio
