'Inside/Outside' is a poignant 10-minute story that follows a young mail courier over the course of two days. On the surface, her life appears idyllic: cycling through the picturesque streets of Utrecht, delivering letters, and engaging with the city's residents.
Yet beneath the daily routine lies a quiet emotional struggle. As she travels her route, she secretly watches her estranged father from a distance, unable to bridge the gap between them but silently yearning for an opportunity to reconnect.
Set against the backdrop of the city's winter landscape, this intimate narrative delves into themes of loneliness, hope, and the complexity of family relationships.
The film will be shot in Utrecht at the beginning of February 2025, offering a unique and atmospheric setting.

Bo. Lead role. Kind and friendly, Bo enjoys talking to strangers but struggles to let anyone into her life. She avoids romantic relationships out of fear of rejection. Previously, Bo lived with her mother in a small town, but she recently moved in with her grandmother, who resides in the center of a larger city. Her parents separated when she was 8 years old, and she has hardly seen her father since then. Uncertain about her future, Bo has taken a temporary job at the post office, which seems to fit her current lifestyle.
Male 22 to 35
Filip. His parents are Polish emigrants, and helps his father with the family construction business. Although he has lived in the Netherlands from a young age, he still struggles to find his place in society and feels obligated to support his parents. Filip is interested in creative professions and self- expression but has never envisioned making a living from them. He is spontaneous and straightforward, unafraid to show affection to others.
Male 40 to 55
Noah. He's a former theater actor and director who is now focused on teaching. Humorous and charismatic, Noah commands attention in any room he enters. He enjoys joking around and often wears fun, colorful clothing. Noah is gay and currently single. His past relationships have failed due to his fear of commitment. Like Bo, Noah harbors an underlying fear of abandonment that prevents him from fully accepting love from others.
Male 45 to 65
Bo's Father. Appears in three scenes alongside the main role Bo. He works at an office and plays with his daughter at home.
