Details
We are casting for a dark comedy court film produced by The University of the Arts Utrecht. In this intriguing narrative, Emiel Valk and Daniel Wouters play two investigators tasked with solving a crime. Despite receiving little guidance, the duo steps into the investigation with unconventional methods, thinking outside the box to find the suspect.
However, their reliance on pre-programmed procedures leads them into a series of comedic missteps, marked by a lack of self-reflection and a growing blindness to the true nature of the case.
As the investigation unfolds, the film explores themes of perception, bureaucracy, and the dangers of rigid thinking in a world that demands flexibility. We're looking for talented actors to bring these complex and quirky characters to life, and to help explore the humour and irony woven throughout the storyline.
