Title: The Hero
Storyline: This short film tells the story of Isaac, a lonely teenager struggling with low self-confidence and uncertainty about his future. Just out of high school, he is searching for a sense of identity and belonging.
He discovers a new world through a group of live action role players (LARPing), where imagination, camaraderie, and adventure provide him with an unexpected path toward self-discovery.
The people Isaac meets play a huge role in his journey: Molly, a quirky and confident young woman who sees him for who he is, Alodyne, a tall and imposing yet kind-hearted veteran LARPer, and Finnian, a witty and supportive friend who helps Isaac navigate this new world.
Meanwhile, Isaac’s father, a hard-working plumber with traditional values, struggles to understand his son’s unconventional path but pushes him toward responsibility and success.
