Storyline: Elsie, a closed off teenager, finds herself escaping into a limitless dream world each night where she meets Artie, a boy with a positive and open spirit. Each evening follows the same routine until, together, they start to shift the boundaries of their dynamic.
As Elsie grows more open in her dream world, her connection with Artie challenges her withdrawn nature in real life. Meanwhile, Elsie’s anxious and overworked mother struggles to understand her daughter, especially as Elsie becomes fixated on her repetitive dreams.
This is a heartfelt short film that blends imagination and realism, exploring themes of adolescence, identity, self expression, and the power of human connection. Actors will have the opportunity to perform emotionally resonant roles in a beautifully written story
