What's it all about?
Genie has a problem! Genie has told her boyfriend that
they 'no longer fit' and should break up. Upset at this
breakup, Genies ex-boyfriend (Jeff) has grabbed his
mates and are off on a wild adventure across America and
Europe to get over her. The next day Genie is packing up
Jeffs things when she spots an unchecked lottery ticket
and discovers its a winner! Genie is too honest and
sweet to claim the prize for herself and so set on a
mission to track down Jeff wherever he may be in the
world.
Along her journey, Genie begins to wise up and is faced
with many dilemmas. Should she just give him the ticket
or should she pretend to get back with him and let him
'find' his ticket lying around or maybe just claim the
money herself :-/
This film is a fun, romantic, funny and crazy adventure
of a film and we hop to start the filming this October.
This is our first major film and we are confident of
it's success. Filming will take place in the UK (
probably London or Manchester) and also in the states
along route 66. We have funding and a great director on
board and now need to fill the following roles. Please
only apply if you can be available on the times stated.
Roles still available
Film extras: We need about 30 film extras aged 18
to 60, any look, no experience needed
Criteria: You will need to be available for 2 days
filming this Autumn. If you are in the UK then you will
be needed in London or Manchester. If you are in America
then it will probably be along route 66.
Lead Role for Genie: This is a major and
important role. You will need to be aged 18 to 40,
pretty and innocent looking. Experience preferred but
not essential
Criteria: You will need to be available for 1 week in
the UK and 2 weeks in the USA. (expenses paid)
Genies friends: 4 females aged 18 to 40. Fun and
adventurous. We also need an overweight actress. No
experience needed. We will be invited to audition early
this Autumn in London or Manchester
Criteria: You will be asked to read a few lines from the
script and meet the rest of the cast. Everyone welcome
to apply, You will be needed for up to a week in the UK
for filming (paid)
Jeffs friends: 6 males aged 18 - 40: America
only. Jeffs friends are all 'jack the lad' types.
Smartly dressed but any look welcome. You will be
invited to an audition this Autumn
Criteria: Jeffs friends are restricted to residence of
America
10 people ( male or female) aged 18 to 35 to play
waiters / waitresses and holiday reps, any look. These
are non speaking roles
Criteria: You will be needed for 1 days filming in the
your own country, No audition required
