What's it all about?
Sasha' is a gritty drama film based around the ambitions
of Sasha, a talented subway busker desperately looking
for her big break. After an auditions goes disastrously
wrong and she is publicly humiliated on live television,
she travels abroad but end up broke and alone on the
streets. On day she is overheard singing by a music
executive who is in the process of putting a girl group
together and she suddenly finds herself in the studio.
Its' not long before Sasha gains the unhealthy interest
of the local gangsters who have part ownership in the
music studio and feel they can exploit her for their own
financial rewards leading to mistrust and betrayal but
throwing up an unlikely romance.
This film may provide a huge platform for you to become
an established actor/ actress or film extra and should
not be missed. This film is an uplifting story of
friendship, romance and desperation all wrapped around
the reality TV singing competitions that now dominate
our lives.
We hope to begin filming in the late Summer on 2013 and
need film extras and actors to fill the roles. You don't
need experience but will need to be available for
between 1 and 30 days depending on the role you are
selected for.
Lead roles:
Sasha - female 18 to 30. good looking, some
singing ability helpful but not required
Jason - male 25 to 60 to play music agent, wears
a suit, smart and sophisticated
5 Girls needs to play Sashas friends, any look,
no experience needed
10 females aged 18 to 30 to be film extras in
various scenes
10 males aged 18 to 30 to play film extras in
various scenes
8 males aged 18 to 50 to play gangsters / hardmen
- any look, no experience needed
