Is Britain's Got Talent f***** Without Simon Cowell?

Sometimes in life, a seemingly intelligent person will read a business situation so very badly that it can potentially destroy many years of dedicated and built up success. When thinking of TV shows such as Eastenders or Neighbours, it is clear that the show itself will always outshine the stars and all the actors are replaceable. A huge exception to the rule is Britain's Got Talent and TV singing competition show The X factor. These shows are the success that they are, not due to the auditions, but more because the real star of the show is Simon Cowell. Love like, like him or hate him. Simon Cowell is the reason millions tune in to watch. His brutal honest criticism of contestants is unmatched by any other judge, He makes for an interesting show - Cowell IS the show.

His decision this year to step back and have a clone ( Michael McIntyre ) judge the auditions in his place is a big mistake! Only 2 episodes in and I've had enough! The acts are very bad, uninteresting and the judges are just pathetic. To watch 'The Hoff' squeal with excitement at bad acts that he dosn't even understand makes the show so ... well, American! The scathing criticism just isn't there and even if it was, who cares as its not from the potent and colourful vocabulary of Cowell.

Auditions rigged?

This year, TV bosses  have brought back a Britney Spears look-a-like to bring some glamour in to the show - that's great right? NO! She has already been auditioned and rejected but now the judges have been  told to not only re-audition her but send her through to the live semi finals! In the previous unseen audition, 'The Hoff' was unimpressed and sent her on her way but this time, he has been ordered to fake excitement and send her through. This stinks and is verging on the show being rigged. If Cowell was there, this simply wouldn't happen. There's nothing wrong with building up a business then delegating the work out to concentrate on new projects but in this case Cowell need to be at the helm of this ship before is sinks in true Titanic styley

Enjoy this years Britain's got talent, it may very well be the last unless Simon Cowell sees the mistake he's made. What do you guys think, comment below and please link to this page from your blogs. Thank you

Comments:

Judges comments are scripted to pull the audience in. Writer's are writers behind the face. Change is change - the acts strengthen through the show. The entertainment is sometimes the trash. Life goes on after Cowell even if he still breathes ! When the road is exhausted, new paths have to be made in business to find the new innovation in captured audience. That's media for you . . by D. I totally agree this year the series is not as good because you have an American who is floundering to understand most of the acts and a comedian who would rather face the other way and do his act to the crowds. Although you may love or hate Simon Cowell he is a ratings winner .Even Louis Walsh did a better job than either of the 2 existing judges put together!!.

My comment is that this year Britain got talent is very boring without Simon Cowell. Micheal McIntyre and David hoff is not very good judge. They say yes to every boring hilarious auditions. Simon Cowell will tell you if it's not that good or you make a mistake. He wouldn't put them through.
